Job Description
Innovative healthtech startup is looking for an Executive Assistant to support their CEO. With plans to double in size from 37 to 70+ by EOY, this is an incredible opportunity to be a thought partner to the CEO during this exciting growth stage and grow alongside the organization!
Provide strategic support to the CEO through calendar management, inbox prioritization, travel planning, meeting prep and follow-up while also supporting fundraising efforts, implementing disciplined processes, and managing relationships with high-level stakeholders. Someone adaptable, excels at identifying patterns and working cross-functionally, and is meticulous with the details.
Previous experience supporting senior leaders at a high-growth startup or finance/VC background is a must. This is an in-office role based in New York with some occasional travel.
140-170K+ DOE + equity, 100% health benefits (75% for dependents), 401k, unlimited PTO, and lunch/dinner provided daily!
Requirements
- 5+ years of experience in an Executive Assistant or similar administrative role, preferably in a fast-paced, startup environment or VC.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Exceptional organizational skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to manage multiple priorities efficiently in a dynamic environment.
- Self-starter with a proactive approach to problem-solving.
- Proficient in Google Workspace, Slack, Zoom, Notion, and other collaboration tools.
Responsibilities
- Provide strategic support to CEO, including calendar management, scheduling, and travel planning.
- Anticipate CEO's needs and assist in managing priorities to align with strategic initiatives.
- Draft, review, and manage email communications, presentations, and internal documents on behalf of the CEO.
- Prepare meeting agendas, take accurate notes, and ensure timely follow-up on action items.
- Act as a liaison between the CEO and internal or external stakeholders, maintaining clear and professional communication.
- Support the preparation of materials for board meetings, investor updates, and strategic presentations.
- Assist in improving operational workflows and supporting project execution across departments.
- Maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion.
- Occasionally support personal tasks that contribute to the executive’s productivity.
- May involve occasional travel in support of CEO or leadership team initiatives.
